2016 National “Replacing Wood with Plastic” Green Development Promotion Conference

      On June 20, 2016, the Timber Conservation and Development Center and the China Construction Materials Leasing and Contracting Association organized nearly 300 participants of the 2016 National “Replacing Wood with Plastic” Green Development Promotion Conference to visit Huangshi Hongda Plastic Mould Co., Ltd. and the Huangshi Mould Intelligent Industrial Park for on-site learning and exchange.

      Huangshi Hongda Plastic Mould Co., Ltd. is a professional company engaged in the research, design, manufacturing, and integrated technical service of plastic extrusion molds. It is the largest mold manufacturer in Huangshi, and holds controlling or equity interests in several companies, including Shanghai Eko Mould Co., Ltd. and Huangshi Hongtai Board Industry Co., Ltd.

    The company owns more than 100 sets of large-scale specialized equipment, such as medium and slow wire-cutting machines, CNC machining centers, extrusion mold testing extruders, and CNC machine tools. Its main products include PVC profile molds, PVC wood-plastic molds, PE (PP) wood-plastic molds, wide lattice panel molds, and PVC foam sheet molds, which are sold to more than a dozen major countries around the world.

       The visit began with a tour of Hongda Mould’s production facilities. At the production lines and in the product exhibition hall, delegates frequently stopped to observe, discuss, and exchange ideas, expressing admiration for Hongda’s extrusion mold manufacturing and R&D capabilities.

     At the same time, several leading enterprises showcased their PVC wood-plastic production lines through live demonstrations, including:

• Qingdao Zhongsu Machinery Manufacturing Co., Ltd. – PVC wood-plastic construction formwork production line

• Shanghai Jiahua Machinery Manufacturing Co., Ltd. – PVC wood-plastic solid flooring substrate production line

• Shanghai Jinhu Extrusion Equipment Co., Ltd. – PVC wood-plastic solid wall panel production line

• Sichuan Jingxiong Plastic Machinery Co., Ltd. – PVC wood-plastic hollow wall panel line

• Wuxi Hongyi Plastic Machinery Co., Ltd. – PVC hollow door panel and PVC wood-plastic profile production lines

    These demonstrations highlighted each company’s technological advantages and product strengths.

    After leaving Hongda Mould, the delegation visited the Huangshi Mould Intelligent Industrial Park, where they gained a deeper understanding of the park’s location advantages, resident enterprises, and processing and storage functions, collecting valuable information for future enterprise development planning.

    With the conclusion of the visit, the 2016 National “Replacing Wood with Plastic” Green Development Promotion Conference came to a successful close. The event attracted more than 400 participants from across the plastic formwork industry chain, as well as research institutes and related organizations nationwide. The conference’s rich content and well-organized schedule not only provided an effective platform for industry exchange and information sharing, but also built a bridge between production, education, research, and application, earning high praise from all participants.
